Guys,
I just received this after sending the mail :
-----------------------------------------------
Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:
belen.bernaldo-de-quiros@ec.europa.eu
Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the server for the recipient domain ec.europa.eu by s-dc-edg007-q.mail.ec.europa.eu. [147.67.249.3].
------------------------------------
Somebody knows what it the maximum size? Can we use WeTransfer?
Thanks!

I still don't know what the maximum size is. However, my pdf had 6,85MB and I did not receive any failure in delivering the email.

The documents should be sent to belen's email and which other? The one we got the pre-selection email from, EAC-STAGES-DESK6@ec.europa.eu?
Also, did you sent the email as a response to the pre-selection email or with a different subject?
Thank you so much

Guys, I still have a question about languages.
My documents are in several official EU languages: English, German, Spanish, Latvian. Is it ok to submit them like that, or they must be all in just one official language (which means I would still need to translate)? As far as I understand, a multilingual file should be ok, but I want to be sure...

I have also sent documents in different languages, I think that's ok, one of the ways to prove your language knowledge, is to send a document in the foreign language you claim to know!
I scanned the signed application and sent it.

Hellooo future coleagues (hopefully haha).
I need to ask you a very important question. Have you ever heard of lobbying? Apparently I heard that as soon as you get pre selected you should lobby the Dgs? Has anyone already done it?. Another question does anyone know how will the selection be done?. Personally I think that they are selecting now and those documents that we need to send are just proofes. What do you think? Good luck to everyone guys!

second question? are you all sure that we are required to send all the documents via email? the email I received states "via registered mail"
Thanks in any case

When you Login, doesn't this appear?
"Status of your application
30/08/2013: Your application has been successfully submitted. Click here to view a copy of your application in PDF." ?
If not, send an email to the traineeships office, or call them (the is number at the end of the pre-selection e-mail), they should be able to help you!

You have the steps you need to follow to access your applications in the email you recevied from the TO.
After you insert your data. Under your Personal Data, you have another section:

guys, thanks but it does not show me this, instead it says that the deadline has expired for the traineeship for march 2014, but the think is that I have received all the emails from the EC and I was pre-identified!!!
The only thing I can do is to write them and see what they say!

Hey guys,
I have a problem sending photocopies of the supporting documents (scanned copies in PDF) via e-mail. The problem is that the files are way too big in size. I was trying to zip them as well, but as soon as I send them, I get a failure notice that my documents weren't delivered eventually...
Does anyone has the similar problem?
Or maybe there's someone who can tell me if there's any other option to send them?
Btw, there's also an option 'Attach large files with Dropbox'... Do you think it would be appropriate to do it?

Hello,
Any idea what is the last date documents can be accepted at the office. I'm just trying to figure out what type of postal service I shoudl use. Normal mail service tells me it may take them about 2 weeks to deliver my envelop in Brussels. If I use express mail it can easily cost me a fortune. The email states candidates will receive confirmation of whether they have been preselected for the Blue Book at the beginning of December, so I'm a bit concerned about the time frame.
P.S I've been trying to contact the office over the phone for two days now, regrettably can't get hold of them.
Thanks,
A

Send it by registered mail
I dont know the equivalent for you contry, but here is what it means http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Registered_mail
It does not matter at what date the files will get in Brussels, but rather the DATE YOU SEND THEM ON. So, when you post your envelope, request it to be sent by registered post - you will get thus a PROOF that states the envelope was sent to the Traineeship Office on the XX of November. Then you will scan this proof, alongside with the scanned documents from your file (the same you hae sent by post), and you will send them also via EMAIL, as indicated in the acceptance email.

Hi,
My e-mail was also too heavy so I sent a link to a cloud service (dropbox, skydrive,...) containing all the supporting documents.
Have you received any confirmation for your e-mail?
