Dates of pre-selection

Hi!

Does someone know when we'll be notified if we've been preselected ? Or if everyone receives an e-mail -even when we did not get through the selection?

i've read the topics for the previous years and it seems we'll find out in april-may, but i'm not sure

Last year it took them exactly 3 months to give me a (negative) response.

Have you seen traineeship statistics for October2015 session? There is only 1697 applications !!! I strongly believe that this is some mistake..

I also saw that number and I think that it's mistake but I won't be really sad if it's not

OK, now there are more than 20000 candidates

it's strange the number of non-EU nationals: 10.000 => half of the total. a mistake probably...

I just noted there are 10221 application from non-EU states for the 2015 Oct EU traineeship, outnumbered the 10096 applications from EU states.

But there were only 2506 applications from non EU countries compared to 13357 from EU countries for March 2015 traineeship.

There were usually less than 3 thousands applications from non EU countries applicants...

I didn't get anything. Last year the results came out on the 26th March, so we should have news very soon. Good luck to all.

Zrow : how do you know that last year the pre-selection results came out on the 26th March? 26th March was a Wednesday last year, so I suppose that if we receive nothing today, it means that we are not pre-selected...

They have updated the website. (Last update:27/03/2015 02:45:24) The October 2014 - February 2015 traineeship is no longer ongoing

yes, but only for french and german languages. for english not yet

It is my third application (and hope the third time I am in). Last year we (taken) received the e mail on the 26th of March at 18:45 (to be precise). The year before it was around mid-may.

So keep calm, the results will come out between now and mid-may and there is no rule

Bleue: thanks a lot for your message I was a bit surprised when I read that the pre-selection (pre-identification?) results were communicated on the 26th March next year, so I'm reassured by your explanation

2 years ago, they didn't ask for documents
So, that's why you received the e-mail in mid-May.

They don't want us to know anything about the pre selection!

Or maybe they already started sending the emails to the pre-identified and no one of them is here, so we think that it still has to start

Hi guys, I asked about pre-selection deadlines to the epso people and they told me everyone will hear back regardless of the selection's outcome by the end of April.

Also, did you apply for a translation traineeship or the general traineeship?

@traineeship5, I got mine at 5 pm and I´m applying for the translation traineeship. I think it´s not lost yet, maybe it differs for each country or traineeship type, or something. I hope you´ll get pre-selected too!

@peejay, I think so . Honestly it´s much more convenient than to send them by post. I´ll upload them as soon as I´ll have all the docs scanned... which is difficult as I have them at different places/countries
