I also applied for the journalism option and haven't heard anything. I have Paris as my first choice and Strasbourg as my second. What about you?

I don't think all hope is lost, but not having being called for an interview is probably not a good sign. Someone in this forum got a call from the London press office, apparently.

I know two girls that got it without even having a master's degree, so you never know Smile

They did have two years of work experience, though.

He or she didn't specify, but I asummed it was the journalism option because it was the press office that called him/her.

They might have changed. Let's say one DG is late.... The Parliament works until 1330 today, I really see a slim chance to get an answer today.

Does it mean that if they didn't send any mail until now that means rejection?I didn't recevie anything and weekend begins from today.Maybe I'm wrong, but I think the chanses are rather small. Sad

No, it doesn't. Apart from some specific DGs, they send offers and rejections all together.

As they told me, they would let us know within this week or next one if they don't finish everyhting! Sorry for didn't mention that maybe they will confirm next week but they told me that the most chances were for this week..

I chose a DG for translation and as alternative DG for the presidency. I have no idea if they finished the selection process. If I don't get any answer until Monday I'll call them. I can't wait anymore. So impatient.. Rolling Eyes

I think that the decision for most of the placements has been made. I'm saying that because the deadline to send the supporting documents is until 29 July. Perhaps they don't send the rejection emails in case they want to make some late-selections... I don't know. Why don't you try calling the office?

unfortunately i am not selected....:-(
but ok at least now i know!
she said though they haven't finalised everything..but if you guys call and give her your surname she will tell you immediately if you are selected or not..
and the neagtive emails will come by friday i think..
