Anyone has received yet a confirmation letter? I applied the DG-s for Internal Policies and Communication.Do you think next week is a respected deadline , 15 july or could it be at a later date?

i haven't heard anything yet...so i think that my chances are rather small...

the deadline is not mid july? because i am preparing myself of a rejection email on the 15th!

E-mail that we received:

Candidates will be notified by e-mail of the results of the selection:
- in late July (for traineeships starting on 1 October)

But you're right, the website says 15th of July.

i don't remember now where i read it but somewhere it was saying that we would know until mid july...and someone (sorry, forgot the name) has already posted here that last year they received the rejection emails on the 15th..

OK, so what do you guys think are the actual chances of being accepted or waitlisted at this point if we have not received an offer nor been contacted for an interview? Did a lot of people get formal offers already? I thought all the outcomes were sent out at the same time, but then again...maybe not.

Has anyone received any answer today? They were saying mid July and last year I know they did send the answers on the 15th (both positive & negative). If only I had more patience left...

Hello everyone,

I couldn't wait anymore so today I tried to find a telephone number of the Traineeship Office and finally I managed to talk with them. The person who ansewred told me that almost all results have been finished and that we will be informed next week. I also asked her about some people that have an offer and she told me that some departments had finished their selection earlier and that's why some people have alresdy been informed..

Unfortunately she told me that my name is not on the list of the selected candidates until now..so 99% I will not be in

Next week we will all know the final result!

Thanks for the info! I'm sorry that you were told you're not on the list, but who knows, sometimes if it's meant to be even a 1% chance matters .
Uf we'll have to wait a little bit more.

Hello there,
I received an offer shortly after my interview - the email was waiting for me on the 30th of June but I only read it in the 1st of July. I'm DG Communication which was my first choice. Hope that's any help for other people still waiting. Good luck and have fun sorting all the documents out (I had a blast chasing my referee in the middle of the summer holidays, hehe)

Just received final confirmation that my file was eligible and complete!
Will be in the department for Structural and Cohesion Policies.

I got the offer on 30 June without having had an interview prior.
I think I sent the documents on 6 July - and got the final confirmation yesterday.
