Preselection Date

Firstly, good luck yo everyone with your applications!

As it is mid-October now, it's time to start being nervous about the preselection results.

Does anyone know how long it takes to make decision on the pre-identification?

From what I have seen on the website, they state that the pre-selection/eligibility phase takes place in "October-November 2016", so I'm guessing soon?!

You could also try searching last year's group and see when they got their results!

the application statistics are already online: 12663 people applied in total. A bit more than for this year's March traineeship.

If you check out the posts from the March 2016 session, the pre-selection emails were sent on 9 Nov. So I guess it will take about two more weeks?

The pre-selection date is close, and I'm starting to worry about the results. I'm fully qualified as most of the people here, but this is freaking me out.

Commission is closed tomorrow and wednesday... guess we have to wait even a bit longer

The waiting is killing me. But I'm pretty sure we have to wait at least to the second week of november, so let's not hold our breath.

hi, I'm Julie. good luck to us all. I am new here and I do have a question. In the event of being shortlisted, do we have to send documents to also prove our IT skills. I wonder how to prove that I'm good at using MS office, Photoshop and so on.

Hi guys, I also wait for the results of preselection procedure. I was peselected in last year session, but eventually haven't been selected. Julie, answering to your question reffered to proof of IT skills. I declared last time some IT skills but then I havn't uploaded any dicuments proving it and despite this have passed eligibility check.

There is a high probability that preselection results will be released today. They were released on the second Monday of November last year.

Well technically it is the first Monday of this November, so I might be wrong.

Hopefully Let us know if someone gets anything today.

so you have not received email from the EC? or there is just no update on your accounts?

I got an email today. Need to upload documents now. Seems like rules have changed in the selection process. Is lobbying still happening or they just pick and get in touch with selected person.

Does preselection even mean something at this point?
