Sorry to hear that...but do not be put off!!and above all, do not give up!! I don't know if it's your first time applying, mine wasn't. First one, I was not even preselected, so try again!

Btw, I didn't get the traineeship in any Inter-Institutional relations unit. Neither heard anyone who got it...I am sure you are an excelent candidate (that's why you were preselected) but it has been a matter of luck and these Units don't have any trainee positions this session.

I called the TO and they said we should send an e-mail asking them about our unit. But so far I have no answer back.

Lobbied but didn't receive any call from any unit, nor any email replies to my lobby emails

I've been selected and didn't lobby but received a call..

Hi guys, selected, DG Research!! I am so so happy!

This was my second attempt. The first time I got pre-selected but not selected.
This time I got it!

I didn't lobby, didn't get any phone calls or emails so my hopes were not too high. But hey, I made it!

For future applicants checking this thread, different DGs operate differently so not hearing anything after the pre-selection email doesn't mean you should lose hope!

Congrats to everyone who got the traineeship and for those who didn't, I have been there and all I can say is that if it's something you really want, don't give and apply again!

Cheers
