Preselection

Has anyone heard back yet?

not yet! guess we ll have the answer at the end of the month.
fingers crossed.

The EC website says that we will be informed by the end of April...and I guess there won't be any preselection before the scheduled date. :-(

Hi guys! It seems that we will have to wait longer to find out if we have been pre-selected. I received this answer to my email when I asked when will we find out the results:

Dear Mr xxx,
The pre-selection results will be sent out by email to all the candidates after the 15 of May 2013.

This session there are so many applicants it's almost unbelievable...

I can't wait anymore I am so nervous!
I know, only couple of weeks left till we know the results of preselection... but it's getting harder to be patient!!!

Did you prepare your lobby letters already? Or will you wait first for the answer? I have chosen people I want to lobby, but no letters written yet

I can't wait either!! I am waiting for the results before doing anything because I am rather pessimistic about being preselected with so many applicants!

Quite excited as well although trying to be realistic at the same time, with my feet on the ground. I guess right now the results of pre-selection can come out at any point

What do you think how they will notify us about the outcome of the preselection?

They will just send an e-mail stating the result of the preselection process. However I won't expect it to be this week, more likely that it will be next week :-/

You're right, but last time I made it to the Blue Book and got nothing after. I would be really sad if this time I didn't make it even in the Blue Book

Actually it's really a strange selection process. Its something insane including people on the blue book and then wait for further selection.
It should be enough 1 step: you have been selected=you will be an intern...
otherwise not...so simple.

I emailed them today and they said that they are sending out the results this week by email.

in case you are not pre-selected, you also get e-mail at the time as pre-selected or later?

you get an email regardless.

the "translators " have already received the confirmation email...and even a phone-call..

The translation traineeship usually hears back from them earlier than we do!
