Previous experience in EU institutions
Thu Jul 25, 2013 5:52 pm
Hi everybody,
I am going to apply for the march 2014 traineeship. I was previously an intern at the office of an MEP for 4 weeks. My understanding is that it doesn't exclude me from applying for this traineeship, because the one in EP lasted less than 6 weeks. However I am wondering if I should draw attention to this experience in my letter of motivation and etc. I'm thinking if this is considered an advantage or if it's rather something that would decrease my chances of getting selected because they prefer people with no experience at EU institutions to get this oppurtunity. Probably not an easy question, but I'd be grateful for any help or thoughts you all might have.
Thanks!
