Well, if you had language courses in the university, that is fine. Other than that, they accept official language certificates and if you did you degree in that certain language.

Hello everyone,
I`d like to ask if wrong date for the diploma would be a reason for exclusion.
Just now I noticed that I did a typing mistake for date of qualification obtained.

I dont think so. I made the same mistake. In the application, as a date of diploma obtaining, i put the date of the diploma ceremony. whereas the date on the actual diploma is the date of issuing.
Similar mistake i made with the duration of the work - for example i put as the last day 10th of April whereas it was 5th of April.
Also, in the application I wrote Slovakia instead of Slovenia (University of Ljubljana, Slovakia)
There are 3 mistakes in my case hahah
So yes, I hope they will have understanding with that

I am a bit new to the Bluebook (first time I applied). Can someone tell me how does the process work? Are we in the bluebook list already or only after passing the eligibility check?
We have to submit our docs before 28/10, and then when (approximately) do we receive an answer that our docs are ok? and if lobbying is done, when should it start?
Thank you very much and good luck to everyone!

No, only if we pass the eligibility check we end up in a Blue Book.
About the answer, I am not sure. I applied in the last session too and it took them bit more than a 2 months to give the decision. This time I assume it will go bit faster but still i dont expect the decision before December.
Lobbying usually starts after you find out if you are in a Blue Book or not.

Apart from potential bluebook trainee I want to see myself as a fortune teller also . As such, looking at the time of the preselection, and comparing to other years and the october 2019 process I think we can expect the following:
Preselection: september-october (on time-october 22nd)
Eligibility check: october-november
Reservations: december-january
Offer sending: from end of january
What do you guys think?

Thanks for the answer ! Is the "eligibility check" merely a formality, or is there some more "selection" that happens at this stage ? As in, if our documents are in order, we should go through to the blue book, right ?
Thanks.

Hey everyone, congratulations on making it through the pre-selection! I am a first-timer myself and I was wondering if maybe some experiences souls in here have some tips on how to tackle the lobbying part after the eligibility check. I saw for instance that you will be provided with a list of contact details from offices that accept trainee enquiries but I was wondering if you could also just email a targeted person? Or would that be frowned upon?
Many thanks in advance!

Hey guys! Have you been contacted by one of your DGs? Just curious to see whether the selection process has moved any bit!

Hey, so I am one of the lucky trainees and I will give you something to consider (a thing I would have loved to know before becoming a trainee). When choosing a DG (accepting an offer) take into consideration that by picking an Agency you will NOT be able to apply for a Junior Professionals Programme. Moreover, by choosing some particular DGs you will be disqualified as well, as many are NOT selecting their trainees... so make sure to ask about it during a phone inverview.

Many thanks for the tip, trainee2019!!! I didn't know that.
Do you guys think we will know this week about the eligibility check or that we will have to wait until next week?

Just to make sure, is this Junior Professionals Programme only for the EU citizens?

Well, if that makes you feel better, because my browser kept refreshing and reloading the application web page, my dates of employment have been reset. As a result, for two of my three work experiences, i put 2019 as ending date of contract instead of 2012 and 2014. And, on top of that, i realized my mistake 2 hours ago. No need to say that I'm not looking forward to the eligibility check results...

No news so far. I was hoping that they will send the results tomorrow. However, it might be not even tomorrow, as it might be that they are first waiting for the new Commission to start..

Same. I'm seriously unimpressed with how the application procedure has gone so far. I got an accidental rejection letter in September, then the message sent in October contained the wrong dates and now this mess... I mean, come on, it shouldn't be like this.
