But I followed today which DGs guys mentioned, non of them were the DG that choose me as No. 1 list. Maybe TO is going by DG list... Maybe tomorrow...

Yeah, as far as I've seen, no one mentioned my DG (Trade) either. I just saw your previous post - I'm not an EU national, so that might be the case as well. Oh well, maybe tomorrow..

I am also Non-EU citizen, and I remember that head of unit that contacted me told my that my acceptance latter might be late since the check for us is longer!

I hope we will get emails tomorrow, so I can relax over the weekend

I also got an e-mail saying I was accepted at Directorate-General for Communication (COMM)
COMM.A.4 - Audiovisual Services. I did a lot of lobbying but no one called me for an interview. Today I found out they called a professor from my university in order to ask him about me. I did not write him at references, actually I didn't use his name at all in my application. Luckily, he has a very good opinion about me.

I am not the only one then! I am a non EU citizen indeed! Maybe it takes longer for us to get a response? Do you think we could contact them somehow? I have got a job offer, and I have been procrastinating with a response to this company for 2 weeks and I have to let them know by today ( Silly me I thought I would get the email from TO yesterday).

I tried e-mailing them through the official form on the site, no reply, and now I found a phone number, same thing. Maybe they're out on a lunch break? Will keep trying though. Out of curiosity, where are you guys from?

yeah I've found a phone number as well and gonna try to calll! I'll let you know guys if they answer! I am a Ukrainian citizen I have been living between the EU and the US for many years though. what about you guys?

I got the TO on the phone! They said it is indeed because we are not EU nationals, and that we will get an email in the next few days! They couldn't tell me anything about my status, but let's hope we get a positive reply. I am sorry about your situation Meteoduki, but you brought hope!

I think it's lunch break now But try and let us know if we are going to receive anything today.

I already wrote that HoU that picked me as first choice told me that Non-EU will wait longer for the response. But I think that the fact that we did not get anything yesterday is good, since if we did got, it would be negative response as in case of meteduki... sorry for you! Apply again!
