According to my 'leaked' document, offers for Non-EU candidates will be sent from 16th of July onwards. Since the 25th was also pretty accurate (they missed it by just one day) I guess it's pretty reliable information. So all Non-EU candidates just have to wait for a little longer.

I think it is totally possible that you will receive the offer a bit later as the procedure for non-EU candidates takes more time... So don't loose your hope today

Were all the emails for EU candidates sent out today?

I have not received any email so fat...I am a bit disappointed

I also didn't get anything so far

Don't lose hope yet guys. They only sent out the offers to first selections today... there are more to come once some of the people who got an offer today turn theirs down.

I got an offer too! Congrats everyone! And to those who haven't received it yet: I have friends who were not "first choice" and didn't get their offer until mid july. There's always people who end up not accepting the offer they receive if they get accepted into a university somewhere or find another opportunity, in that case they go for number 2 on the list (btw this doesn't mean at all you are any less in any way, thing is everyone applying for the blue book is extremely qualified. Especially those making it to the final pre-selection which you are part of, remember that! At this point it's always a matter of personal preference rather than actual qualifications. Don't lose hope! Good luck everyone xxx

Anyone know if any acceptance on our part at this stage is binding? Waiting on a decision from a university at the same time... :/

I was also loosing hope seeing everyone getting their offers since this morning and nothing in my inbox ... but don't lose hope guys, I guess the emails are being send out and you might get yours later today! I just receive my offer now !!!!

Hey! First of all, congrats on getting the position! Did you also interview with the unit at which you are now placed with? There can be a couple of reasons why you end up at a different unit. It can be either that your current unit listed you as their number one earlier than the other unit and then it's first come first serve. It could also be something with HR that they changed the list slightly to accommodate for example nationality quotas. I'm not really sure to what extent HR has this power, but I think in your case it must have something to do with how fast your current unit was. Which DG did you get in?

Don't desperate guys! This is the second time I applied for the traineeship. Last time I applied for the previous period of March-July and I received a rejection letter, stating that none of my preferences had selected me. Then by mid March I got an offer from a DG I didn't even apply to, but I was already committed with a different project. So as you can see, anything is decided not even when the traineeship has already started

When do you receive a rejection letter?

I’m non-EU and nothing... I hope the comment about non-EU offers coming later is correct! But that is also so long to wait Congrats to those with offers though! The waiting agony continues for us foreigners I suppose...

Any Brits receive confirmation? I was told I was a DGs first choice and nothing.

I received the official traineeship contract approx. 2 hours ago, which I've accepted now. One thing I noticed was that I - by accepting the offer - also undertook to provide some "requested documents". I know that trainees are to have a sickness insurance (which must be presented to the Commission) but does anyone know what else we are supposed to document before the start of the traineeship ?

Thanks, I got a position in TAXUD and no, did not have an interview with this unit at all. It is so random, I mean, I am happy to have gotten a position and I received an email with the tasks I will by carrying out and it seems really interesting, but just such a non-transparent system!
