Entry into the Blue Book

I am not applying myself, but know people who are. It would help me greatly if a few applicants could post here to let me, and others, know when they hear about their application and entry into the Blue Book.

I imagine that all applicants will hear at the same time, both in the positive and negative, but it would be useful to verify this.

Oct 2016 applicants heard back at the end of May (27th, I think) but it appears they are somewhat behind this year. For no particular reason, I thought we might hear one way or another by EOD today.

Do you know how many of the 18 000 candidates were pre-identified? I only know that they will pre-select somewhere at 2000 and that 650 will get an offer. But how about how many were pre-identified?
