Accommodation in Brussels

Did anyone find a suitable flat near the EC for 350/400 euro?
I am still looking for it!

Based on my experience of looking so far it seems that rooms near the EC are more like 450-550 (or more). Or the people who have cheaper rooms get so many replies that they do not have time to respond to everyone. I'm starting to lean towards finding something when I actually get there (to be able to see it and be sure that I'm not being conned also).

True, I'm not sure yet. Might couch surf I guess. Should be pretty easy to find some place fairly quickly, so it might be worth the investment of two or three nights in a hostel. We'll see, perhaps I'll be lucky and find something soon...
