Guys I received a rejection email from the TO last week but now I just received a phone call from a dg asking if I'd be interested in a communications traineeship with them So there is still hope, even for those who got a rejection email!

Me the same. I received an rejection answer and 2 days later they called me to propose a traineeships at DG ECHO

I personnally found a room in https://housinganywhere.com/ to be sure to not be scammed since i cant visit flats in brussels before the traineeship starts. It's similar to airbnb, or online agency.

Hello everyone! I have been selected last minute for a traineeship at AGRI!!! Very exciting I am waiting for them to send me the contract but I am already looking for accommodation and flights.

Do you guys know when is the official starting date? I see that 1st of March is a Friday and at my department, they were not sure if they move the starting date on Monday I imagine there will be a presentation and training so I was checking if you know more information! Thank you

Hi to anyone still looking here. I received the rejection at the end of Jan but just yesterday received an email from a unit saying they wanted to offer me a traineeship. For those that this happened to, how long after did the official offer come in? I got so excited and happy but have realised that nothing is secure until I have that official offer and I am worrying that I won’t get it, like maybe I’m not actually their first choice or something!!

Well.. my above post can be ignored. Just got an email saying in the end they have selected someone else. I am pretty upset as they really worded it as if they were going to give me the traineeship... oh well. Disappointed but not surprised haha.

Hi everyone, I have been offered a traineeship in DG EAC starting next october. The traineeship office mentioned some other documents to be sent to them in order to go on with the procedure. They mentioned of course the bank account and a "medical certificate", but they weren't able to specify what exact kind of medical certificate I have to send them. Is there anybody who knows anything about this medical certificate?
The traineeship office told me I'd receive all the information "in the following days", but I have to leave on saturday for some weeks and I wanted to prepare all the documents before leaving.
Can someone help me? What kind of medical certificate have you been asked prior to start your traineeship?

I am an Italian national and I'm having troubles producing the medical certificate requested by the Commission.
Maybe other Italian nationals could be of help with this matter.

I went to see 2 doctors (my family one and the occupational medicine doctor ad the hospital) and both told me they couldn't sign that certificate bc those certificates do not exist anymore in Italy, since a law in 2008 introduced the validity of self-certification for some matters.

Does anybody have the same problem?
