any news for the selection?
When are we supposed to know something about the outcome?

I'm so fed up of waiting.

Is it possible that we still have to wait so long?
we have no news at all!

I just got an interview request from them today... But the selection process is still going on, so dont worry!

Today evening, via email, they wanted me to confirm a phone interview time.

They also said that the shortlisting is still ongoing and you might be contacted still by another department

I reckon I dont understand how it works. In any other institution, candidacts are pre-selected, and after that, interview are conducted with pre-selected candidates. Does it work differently with the council?

there is no preselection at the Council.

they call or send an email with the contract.

Hmm, i haven't checked my status since i left the application! But i will do that to let you know. I really think that they are only starting the selection in the council and most of the departments have not yet reached out for candidates. Plus, they contacted me outside my preferred subject areas i had indicated in my application, so i haven't still heard anything from other departments.

I checked my application status in epso and nothing has changed there so far as i can tell. So my application is still just an application. I propably got contacted by translation as i have had language and translation studies as well.

Cause when I asked when we can expect the results, I've recieved an asnwer that somehow soon

no, he wrote to the Consilium

what about you? when/what dis you write? what did they answer?

Do you know what exacetly he wrote that he received such a precise answer? Did he have any interview? Have you also tried to write such message?
I wrote to the CoR last week but I received a very general answer - basically same things that are available on their website

yes, I tried at the beginning of the week and they said we would have heard from them soon.

why don't you try too? At least to know if there's still hope for today/tomorrow...be precise because the more general the question, the more general the answer.
