I also got mine confirmed. Any ideas on what it means? I had assumed that most "pre-selected" people would get their documents approved as it was mainly an issue of proving one had the necessary qualifications.

No idea of what that means. Especially that I thought that the selection was ended....
I sent an e-mail to ask. I would tell you if I receive an answer.

I emailed them a few weeks ago to ask if the selection had been completed and got the following answer on the 17th of November: "The pre-selection process has been done and selection is on the way. You could still be selected in case of any of the pre-selected candidates decline or leave the selection process in upcoming weeks." So I was also convinced that the selection had already ended...

EESC responds me today : " It means that we entered into the ultimate phase of selection and that you will have the confirmation of your selection or not in the next days".
Suspense....

My status has changed to 'selected' as well. Don't think this means that we have been selected 'selected' yet, as I would assume they would interview first? Maybe have made it into the selection of provisional candidates for our chosen departments. Guess soon will find out! Good luck everyone!

Mine also changed to 'selected' with no prior interviews or email confirmations. Let's wait til tmrw, may be something will be clearer

I don't think that EESC is conducting interviews. As far as I know - when status is changed to "selected" it means that you are, in fact, selected. But yes, lets wait until they send e-mails.

Thank you! Yes, by e-mail. I think the whole process moves very slowly (on October 24 I was told I had been pre-selected and needed to send in documents...on December 1 I heard I had passed the eligibility check), so there may still be hope if you haven't heard anything.

I also had a CoR interview about two weeks ago. The interviewer said he needed to make a decision very soon but, when I ask the traineeship office last week, they said they *hope* to notify people in the third week of December. So there is still time remaining..

I have also received an official offer of traineeship yesterday. Did you get any response once you have signed, scanned and emailed it back to them?

Yes, I did. They will send more information in the next few weeks.

I didn't. But I guess they take their time... We should get detailed e-mails soon after sending a signed offer.

Congrats to everyone who got the traineeship. I might be interested in accommodation sharing, depending on whether i find something convenient for myself. But if anyone finds a nice larger place and need to fill up an extra room, pls let me know
