Traineeship at the Court of Justice of the EU March 2015

Has anyone applied for a traineeship?
If so, did you get as much as a confirmation of your application?

I applied but i did not receive any confirmation. Did you?

Hi! I also applied for this traineeship.

Two days ago, I received a phone call from the lady in charge for the "stages" at the Court asking me to confirm my availability and to choose the department where I would prefer to work. I was pretty happy at that moment but now I am starting to worry since I have no e-mail or letter proving that I was actually proposed a traineeship placement. She also mentioned that the official confirmation will be sent to me later on (long administrative process).

Has anybody gone through a similar experience?

I think you shouldn't worry at all, it seems to me that in recent years people were receiving official confirmations in December Good luck to you!

Hi there! I called Bureau des stages. I was told that we should expect some information from them around 15 December.
How about you, Katyna, did you receive any confirmation after the call?

I contacted directly Mrs. Bub-Aguilera and she told me that we stand more chances to receive an answer by the end of next week than during this week (procedure is long she said).

I was talking to Mrs Aguilera as well. Actually, we got the same information. So we need to be patient

Thank you for sharing this information. Did she indicate how (email or post) we would receive any information? And will it only be send to those selected or will we receive a rejection as well?

I'm sure this applies to the rejection as well. I think we should expect an email, she didn't mention that though.

Hi all, I applied for the legal traineeship for March as well and just got a rejection letter this morning by email.  So check your emails, you may have been luckier than me!

Congrats to those of you who got a positive answer! I was also accepted and I was wondering if you have already started looking for an accommodation. Personally, I have booked a room at the Center for stagiares in Lux (wfs). Nonetheless, as the room is only available as of 16th of March I am still looking for a short term (2 weeks) accommodation starting with the 1st of March. Do you have any suggestions as to what might be a viable and affordable option?
