I'm applying to the traineeship and am wondering what area of interest to chose. If I understand correctly, this is the first time that we don't get to chose a desired DG but rather pick an area of interest.

How do I know what area of interest to pick if I would like to be in, for example, the Energy or Environment DG in the end?

Should I pick the area that is most closely related to my formal education or rather pick the one I would like to be in?
