when is the deadline for them to let us know if we are selected? Is it mid-January? Do you know when they typically contact people?

Hey guys, according to the DG Translation website we should have been contacted by now :
''Candidates who applied for a traineeship starting in March 2013 do not need to contact us. Only selected candidates will get a call or e-mail from us — by mid December at the latest.''

I think maybe they contact first the selected candidates to check their availability and then the rest (in January?) ... I also think it may depend on the language unit, as they can have their own deadlines... Anyway, I'm afraid we will have to deal with the anxiety still in Christmas... Sad

Hey, has anyone who applied for the translaton traineeship already recieved any kind of message for them?
As I understood from their old web page, they contact everyone (for the translation traineeship) before mid-January ... Today is already the 10th and still no news Neutral
