preselection

So i read at the website that the preselection is ongoing now.

Anyone got news?

We wont get anything before December 15. Sometimes they send even few day before, but now it is definitely too early.

Well, I think they are referring to "preselection ongoing" in terms that THEY are currently doing preselction.

When they are done and have completed the process they will send the results.

What about the elegibility process? I understood that if I am not eligible, I'm supposed to know it at the end of October..

I have also been preselected but haven't received any email/phone call yet. I'm applying for a second time. Last year got preselected and received one email from DG Interpretation but never got an official offer. This year I already have my Master's Degree and one additional internship in governmental institution in a foreign country - I really HOPE that this time I'm going to get the offer

Anyone heard from DEVCO yet? I emailed them on Monday and didn't get any auto-reply... Thanks!

I just looked at their organisational charts and looked up the HoUs. http://ec.europa.eu/europeaid/who/documents/organigramme-devco_en.pdf

E-mail addresses are usually firstname.lastname@ec.europa.eu

Anyway, I think it was just one DG that was really quick and the rest didn´t even start searching. I convinced myself after sending the application I would be peacefully in denial till January and all this madness with lobbying and phonecalls doesn´t let me sleep. And the worst is that I´m pretty sure that 90% of us are gonna be waiting till January (the not-selected ones + the majority selected by DG who just chose from the Blue Book)

I wrote to several from DG Energy and received a reply from one unit only, saying they did not chose me. The others did not reply to my email at all.

No news yet. This means either very few people have any idea about their selection or very few people decided to share on the forum.

Hopefully the former is the case. Prepare your inboxes for first and second weeks of january.
