Received an offer! Who else is in?

Just received a stage offer from my DG, they said the official offer with all the information (from the Trainee Office) will come in July.

Who else is in and what DG will you be training with?

kiromoto, did you get the letter from the general DG EMPL mailbox or a particular unit? Which one?

I had a call from DG EMPL unit C3 a week ago and they said I am their candidate N1 for the position, but I am still quite worried and afraid that something might go wrong and I won't be offered a place.. :/

Do you think everyone will receive an offer from a particular DG + the offer from the Trainee Office, or is it possible that some will only receive an offer from the Trainee Office in July?

I got the email form the HoU C1 confirming that they are offering me the place but I will hear more from the Traineeships Office in July and I haven't heard from Trainee Office yet.

I think it is very possible that most of us will get an offer from the Trainee Office directly and not from the particular DG simply because they dont have time to reply to us. In my case the HoU wrote back because during the interview he promised that he will let me know the same day.

So you received the e-mail the same day you had a call? In my case the HoU also said something about sending me a "confirmation of our conversation" or something like that, but he never did. I thought he had more important stuff to do, so I didn't bother him, as he stated that he is going to choose me if I am available and that the official offer will arrive in July. Hope he didn't change his mind and I am panicking for nothing..

Yes, I received the email the same day. But I believe that you will get the offer in July. Think positive And let me know so we can meet in real life

Hi everyone and Congrats to those pres-selected!!

Could anyone tell me how can I found out the mark as I want to know how badly I did it being one of those rejected?
Also, could anyone give an example of background you guys have (study and work wise) just to give me an idea of the stereotype, so to speak, that the selectors go for when choosing...if that makes sense what I am saying?

I received a traineeship offer over a month ago (anticipating your questions, it was so early because my DG is probably the only one that does not have the preselection stage, they go straight to the selection). I'm not sure if I'm on the right forum though as my traineeship is in Luxembourg.

I think I am in, got a phone call saying I was their choice and had been forwarded to the traineeship office. I'm a little paranoid though because I got an e-mail from a unit offering me a traineeship a couple of weeks ago and then that offer was withdrawn with no explanation a few days after I accepted.

Hi, yes it was a particular unit at EACEA, unit of culture, so I guess we have to wait to see what other units choose...
