Anyone here applied for Schuman Traineeship? Did you hear anything or still waiting?

Hello! I' ve applied and haven't heard anything yet. Is your application status still "ongoing" too?

I received an informal offer yesterday for one of the positions. I was quite surprised considering that the selection is supposed to be during 1-15 August?

Yes, 1-15 August was what the web page said, I don't know..

I got the initial "shortlisted" email 2 weeks ago and I had to follow up with 2 previously written assignments. Nonetheless, I still need to wait for the formal letter from the EP in August. Best of luck everyone!

Not me.. do you think there is still hope or should I stop thinking about it?

Yes definitely, on the webpage it says the shortlist is done from 1st to 15th of August. I was asking because someone previously pusblished to have received the offer (in advance compared to what they said when the shortlist will be done).

Hi there! I'm actually in kind of the same situation - got an email a few days ago from the comms officer of one of the units I applied to saying that she was glad to welcome me to their office in October, and that if I needed any help with administration/practicalities etc I could contact her. I read it as an informal offer (don't know what other way it could be interpreted?) even though, like you, I thought it was strange that I'd heard back so early. But when I emailed back asking when I should send supporting documents I got a response saying that the selection process ends on July 31st and selected candidates will be contacted later for documents, etc.

Just  a bit confused Guess we just have to wait and see?

Oh, interesting to hear that others also have been contacted this way. Indeed, it is strange considering the time frame on the webpage. Hopefully everything runs smooth in August!

Do you know which unit contacted you?

So far the DG Com/EP Office in my country (Sweden) contacted me.

Got my emails this morning: rejected for two placements, but shortlisted for one in Luxembourg (the one I'd gotten the informal email about)!!!
Hope everyone hears back quickly and that it's good news for you all!

Congrats! Same thing for me in regard to the informal offer. What unit will you be working for?

Congratulations to the shortlisted! A saw a swedish shortlisted in this thread, right? The Criminal Record, which one did you order? Mine only said that if you have a record a paper for that will be enclosed- and then nothing was enclosed. How do one scan that?

I got an e-mail this morning saying I´m shortlisted for one of the traineeships I applied for. Still nothing for the other two though. Does anyone know if we get to know whether we´ve been rejected before the 15th of August?

Hi everyone!

I got two e-mails yesterday saying I was shortlisted for two of the traineeships I applied for! Do you know if I just have to upload the documents once or if I have to do it twice?

I also got two emails yesterday, one saying I was rejected and the other one saying I was shortlisted for the ITRE (Industry, research and energy) .

Does anyone have an idea of how many people are shortlisted? I've read in other threads that if you're shortlisted you really have possibilities to be the chosen one, otherwise you recieve and email saying that you are on the "waiting list", but maybe this is for another traineeship..

I believe the point of uploading the documents is for them to able to send out the formal latter after August 15th. No one has received a formal letter yet (wouldn't make sense in regard to the FAQ).

Hi guys! I got shortlisted on 1st of August (had an earlier phone interview around 18th of July), uploaded my docs on 3rd of August.

I hope to receive any kind of feedback ASAP. Does anyone know how many people get shortlisted and what is the chance of getting a formal offer upon docs submission? In case anyone has already received an official offer, I’d much appreciate if you could let me (us) know

Hello, I got shortlisted for 2 traineeships! Congrats to everyone shortlisted!

Anyone else shortlisted for EU Enlargement? Does anyone perhaps know how many people they shortlist? I assume 3 or 4, however there seems to be no information available online regarding this issue.

I was shortlisted for the Parliamentary Research Services - External Policies Unit on the 1st of August and still waiting.

Hello! I was also shortlisted for the DG for the Presidency, Protocol Unit, on the 1st of August. I uploaded the documents on the 5th of August and still nothing.
