Hey guys, anyone thinking about accommodation?

Anyone wanting to share (if we're in by Friday) - I'm looking for flatmates.

So you already got a real offer?

No I don't, I'm just being really hopeful. I've had 5 interviews so I hope that one of them has gone well.

But aren't the official offers sent in January?

I think we might get them earlier this year but I'm not sure.

Considering how long it took them to publish the eligibility test results, I highly doubt it. If you are lucky and your unit is up for it, they could let you know when they book you or you might accidentally find out, because another unit would contact you to tell you they'd be interested, but you are already booked. However, as far as I understood from older threads in the forum, this is far from the norm.

We are renting our nice furnished house from March to mid-August 2017. It is very close to the EU institutions with 4 bedrooms and possibly more.

Just so you know, not all EC buildings are in the same area. You might want to check where the DG you expect to get an offer from has its buildings (assuming you want to live nearby).

I just started looking for accommodation (got a late call from the EC), so if anyone's up for sharing a flat in Brussels I'd love to join! Rent prices seem pretty high from what I've seen, but together we're stronger
