In 12 september 2014 , I got an e-mail confirming that my application  for a translation traineeship in the Directorate-General for Translation at the European Parliament (Luxembourg)  was shortlisted .

They asked me to send this documents by post

• your application form, dated and signed (cf. our e-mail confirming receipt of your application);
• evidence of citizenship (passport, ID card or any other official document that refers explicitly to your citizenship);
• diploma(s) and/or certificate(s) testifying to successful completion of studies;
• a breakdown of your university results (analysis of courses attended, marks obtained, etc.);
• where applicable, evidence of professional experience;

Anyonye else was shortlisted?
Generally how many months does it take to get the final answer from the EP ?

I was also shortlisted for the translation traineeship in Luxembourg.
We will get the final answer between 1 and 1½ months before the traineeship starting date,so that will be after 15th November.

It's also possible that they will announce us sooner, from what I've been reading here.
So Iban, please let me know if they contact you! I will do the same.

Has anyone here applied for the April 2015 translation traineeship for university graduates?

I'm also waiting for news for January start! Hope they let us know the outcome soon :-)

No answer here yet, but we all got the e-mail we were pre-selected at different dates so it doesn't concern me a lot.
You were accepted starting 1st of January? I was pre-selected for the January traineeship in Lux, and also for the Commission traineeship in Bxl starting 1st of March
I kinda hope I'm on the reserve list for the Parliament so I can hear in time about the outcome for the spring traineeship

@elenoski, for what type of traineeship did you apply? Translation?

I think that during Monday we will know the results.. But our chances are less than 10%
