Hope you are right!
Cause I can clearly remember that after sending my application i decided to download it for the last time on my Desktop. And then... i noticed there were several bullets, highlighted in red, stating the things we already know: not to send any originals etc + that we have to sign the number of pages according to the numbers in the checklist... duuuuuh
I guess it will not be lethal, but at least it will be viewed as kind of "abstraction" and not paying attention to details (details marked in red! ...)
Anyway, may the power be with us and be successful in the competition
OMG I didn't see that page! It's unfair, they should have written that in the general instructions too

I have also both versions on my laptop: draft one and the right one and nothing is there!

Girls, I do not really want to bother you and me as well, but I am pretty sure about that one. Only seeing that red line yesterday made my day so blue.. (it was not on the application form, but on the last page where we submitted it!)
Also I've read somewhere in the forum that someone did put numbers on the pages of his documents!
Anyway, there's nothing that can be done now... In the future we MUST pay more attention!

Given that we should have payed more attention, I find it really unfair, not having mentioned that we had to number the documents anywhere!
I've just sent an e-mail to them, in order to know more about that!

If it was so important, they would mention it here:
http://ec.europa.eu/stages/information/application_en.htm#Infotab3
Stop panic!

This is what I (politely) mentioned in my email to them in fact!

As you see, Natalite had also put numbers on the pages (she must have read it somewhere, right?!)
But let's stay positive!
Please, let us know when you have an answer to your email

Well...I am sure it was not mandatory.
It was written on the application form at the end.
"A translation into English or French or German has to be attached to each document not written in one of the EU official
languages. For a full explanation, see section COMPOSITION OF THE FILE under SELECTION PROCEDURE -
APPLICATION - HOW?"
and "HOW" is the section to which i sent a like above...

borynka is right - the fact I numbered the documents wasn't my own creativity... I think I saw it in the instruction that was displayed after posting the application but it was nothing like: you must do that or your application will be rejected! I perceived it more like an useful tool for the reviewers, the same way that this eligilibity checklist works. I don't think anyone's application will be rejected only because of this reason if all documents submitted are correct.

It seems now that my application form looks like a big mess... :/

Honestly, I wouldn't worry so much... Maybe it will take them two more minutes to browse through an application if the documents aren't numbered. Clearly, intelligent people work there, so they can tell which copy is an university diploma and which a copy of one's ID
I would say... relax till we get to know the preselection results, there's nothing we can change now anyway

Don't worry, we weren't supposed to bind documents

I clearly remembered numbering my documents according to their instruction.
However, I am sure that this is not the reason I got selected
If nothing is missing from your documents, I am sure you have nothing to worry about
Good luck with your applications!

I didnt bind anything and that is my point...I was thinking about binding supplement of my diploma but i decided that it is better not to..That is why I think my application looks like a mess but I am sure anyways that if the candidate is the right one, they dont look so much on the appication.

I think that there are many important factors to evaluate, and these things about the application are the last they will look at!

Yes it is very much the truth, but when it comes to 7-8000 applicants, even insignifficant ommissions might be of importance
let's hope everything else in the file is ok ;]

@ borynka: that is the reason why i didnt bind any of my documents... I wanted to avoid everythig which may cause rejection of my application
However I think I should stop thinking about it for now. It wouldn't change anything and
with EC you never know in fact...
My friend was selected for a traineeship although he didn't have MA degree and hardly any previous work experience, no exchanges abroad...
I am sure most of you already have this
