October 2017 CoR Traineeship

How do I start a new "category" for threads about the October 2017 traineeships? Or who can do it (if not anyone)?

I'm curious to hear if anyone have been pre-selected yet for the CoR traineeship starting in October. I got the validation e-mail almost 30 days ago now so time is running out for some good news..

I am kind of new here. I was preselacted for the European Commission and I wanted to ask how you got those mails from COR and EESC? I applied for Energy, should I send them an email too?

Congrats for pre-selection at the EC!
How do you mean, "how you got those mails..."? I applied for CoR traineeship (also for EC but got a negative reply there), received an email about three weeks ago saying if I have not heard about pre-selection within 30 days, I am on some sort of reserve list and not pre-selected.

Is it only moderators who can create those categories/topics about a certain application period? E.g. one for October 2017. I am completely new here...

I think only moderators can create topics. No idea.
Anyway, I hope someone else is going to join our conversation as well, and I hope we will get some kind of notification by the end of the week!

I would assume that at least the status of our applications would change. Mine still says "Application valid" when I log in. But I assume that something should happen by the end of this week, according to what I read about previous years.

Not sure if our status would change today if we aren't preselected.

I assume that no news now means bad news....

Reading past posts, only preselected ones get changes in their status and for the rest looks like we are still pending

I have just received their email: in RESERVE list

but how many people do they keep in that list...?
