What area of town?

Hey there!
I just created a similar topic on the facebook group "EC trainees sharing an apartment".
I would like to ask you, who already have a place to stay, in which area of town are you living?
How long do you think you will take to get to work?
I have heard the transportation network is rather good. How has your experience been so far?
I am only arriving in Brussels on the 8th of October and will then be looking for a place to stay. I have looked online before, but after at least one attempt scam and having been recommended by three ppl (who have lived in Brussels) to check it all with my own eyes, I decided to do it this way.
Do you know of any house/apartment with trainees that still has a free room?
