I wasn't selected by the Commission, but I'll be in Brussels for a different internship. So if you accept any 'outsiders' in the circle of EC trainees, I'd be definitely happy to meet up for a drink.
I think the natural choice would be Place du Luxembourg, the timing depends on when people actually get there.

Hello to all, happy to see other trainees here on this great forum! :-) The current group of stragiaires have regular meetings on Monday at Kitty´s O Shea´s. But e.g. Place Lux is always a safe bet. When are you going to be here?

Yea definately! Ive been rather quiet in the last few weeks cuz im still working on my thesis.. but Im probably gonna move to Brussels latest the 25th.

Im living right in the center so Im up for everything, whether its Celtica, Delirium, one of the many other bars there or also closer to the EU quarter where probably most of you guys live.

I can't go to facebook now cos I'm in the office and the site doesn't work here - it's some kind of a huge party in a castle with live music and 600 people, that's all I remember. I'm not sure though if I'm going since I don't know anybody there...
