Committee of the Regions - September 2020

Hi everyone

I would like to know if some of you who applied for the internship at the European Committee of the Regions, and who received an email on April 8 saying that we will be notified if we were preselected within 40 days received any news from them yet?

No news for me as well.

Also, they state in their email that: „If you do not receive a message of pre-selection, your application is recorded in the database of non-preselected candidates.”

So, let's keep our fingers crossed for the EC

I haven't got any news since April 8 as well.
Hopefully we get the preselection email

UPDATE 2! For those who are waiting for the eligibility checks results:
The latest information we know is that the eligibility check selection has been concluded and normally you should be notified soon. It only can depend on what approach is the Commission considering to take on teleworking.
However, many questions remain still unanswered: when will you do the traineeship (October or March, some of you in October, other in March, etc)? Will the competition for one place be higher due to the fact that the actual trainees will be allowed to prolonged their traineeship period, which is now interrupted?

I'm getting concerned as I was counting on the EESC but I did not even get preselected although I was on the reserve list 6 months ago and now have a new experience in EU affairs.

I did not receive anything.. and did not heard people being pre-selected neither.

But the 40 days indicated in their last email is already pass anyways, so that must means that we were not pre-selected
