Etetet, I also applied for the journalism option. Haven't got an offer either.

Applied Sakharov as first choice and institutional/ euro law as second choice

Offerred Institutional Cooperation - Relations with National Parliaments (DG Presidency) (= Brexit fun!)

I have receive and accept an offer yesterday for Directorate-General for External Policies in Informatics Unit, but i haven't receive any confirmation email yet.

Did anyone receive an offer from any of the Member States? Want to know if I should lose hope already

Hey guys. I got an offer for the Directorate-General for Security. Personnel and Planning Unit. Luxembourg. I applied for the human resources option, since that is my background on. However, they selected me for this directorate.

1. Does anyone know anything about this unit? Have found something on internet but not sufficient information.

And also,
2. Does anyone know if it is mandatory to start on March 1st?? Is it the actual starting date? I have an academic activity until March 3rd and I could be in Luxembourg on the 5th. I don't want to reject it, but does anyone know if this would be a problem?

Hi all!

A current trainee there just called the office on my behalf and spoke to an Italian employee who said they have not finished and will continue sending out more offers tomorrow. So if you're still waiting to hear back (like me), try to hang in there one more day!

Also, to non-EU applicants, the office was unable to specify if our status is any different.

I have both replied in the same email and i have created a new but still i haven't receive any confirmation if they have receive my email and my criminal record where they want us to send.

Firstly, congrats to everyone who got an offer!

I got an email from the DG for personnel this morning saying simply "Documents received - thanks!" and nothing else. I don't know what to make of this, and whether it helps or hurts my chances

Just wondering if anyone else has received this email, and did they get any correspondence afterwards?

I also got an email today saying that they cannot give me their final answer yet and final replies will be sent out before the 15th of February

I still haven't got any email at all Really nerve wracking and I hope I get something before the weekend

Raadvi, you were selected, or you enquired about your status (whether you are selected or in reserve) ? I also fired an email with the same question, and to confirm that they properly received my documents, in Monday, but they didn't reply...

castorsia1, do u have any idea how many ppl get selected for journalism? / if nationality/ citizenship matters at all.

i ve looked online, but there s close to no info on that.

Hi! Nothing here yet... I just want to receive an email with some information about my HR application. This is so nerve wracking.. Anyway, just one doubt, do you know if the traineeship for HR department is in Brussels or Luxembourg? (Congrats to everyone who received an offer guys!!)

Hey, unfortunately I haven't been selected yet, they just told me they received my documents. I might send them an email later asking if I have been selected. I applied for Written/Online Press and Education/Culture through the Journalism Option!

It depends on the unit!

I inquired information about my status on the 3rd of January through their website, so I think this email I received today was an answer to that.
I can assume that I am on the reserve list now
